How to #BuildYourImmunity

While we wait for a vaccine, cure and successful treatments for the fatal corona virus, doctors are recommending to build your immunity and strength we've got a few tips to help you get started:

  1. Wash your hands! For 20 seconds each time, with any kind of soap and remember to turn off the running water while you’re
  2. Boost your intake of Vitamin C
  3. BREATHE: spend 20 minutes every single day, practising basic breathing exercises to strengthen your lungs and clear your airways
  4. E X E R C I S E: pump up hour heart rate with at least 30 minutes of daily exercise (yoga | any form of cardio | brisk walking)
  5. EAT: three meals a day, in moderate portions and choose warm foods over cold
  6. Load up on antioxidant foods: ginger, garlic, lemons, avocadoes, blueberries, mangoes, oranges and pineapples
  7. Eat fresh fruits + vegetables
  8. Load up on Vitamin D by spending time outdoors in the morning hours. Ask your doctor for a recommended supplement to increase your levels
  9. Hydrate!!! Drink plenty of fluids to stay hydrated.
  10. Drink a few glasses of warm tea
