A simple dandruff remedy with FLAXSEED
Flaxseeds are filled with Omega-3 fatty acids that provides nourishment to dry scalp. This fatty acid is a form of alpha-linolenic acid (ALA) which is known for its heart health benefits. It also reduces inflammation – a contributor to diseases throughout the body that can also affect hair growth. Flaxseeds are also good sources of vitamin Bs, a group of nutrients that strengthen hair and healthier at a faster rate. Cold pressed flaxseed oil gets easily absorbed into the skin and scalp, thereby providing direct nourishment.
Yoghurt + dandruff: yoghurt is power packed with anti-bacterial properties that helps keep scalp infections at bay. Rich in vitamin B5, D, zinc, magnesium and potassium, yoghurt can cure many hair and scalp problems. Mainly, it reduces stubborn dandruff and itchiness.
Dandruff relief:
Apply No. 06 Flaxseed Cold Pressed Oil onto scalp and leave on for 45 minutes before each shampoo
Once a week apply hair mask below
Increase nutritional intake of Omega-3 and biotin foods: walnuts, flaxseeds, yoghurt, almonds, sweet potato, fish and eggs
DIY Hair Mask to rid of dandruff:
- ¼ cup curd
- juice of half lemon
- 1 tbsp No. 06 Flaxseed Cold Pressed Oil
Mix the ingredients together and apply on to every inch of dry scalp
Spray a few pumps of No. 06 Flaxseed Cold Pressed Oil onto your palms, rub together and gently apply to the lengths of the hair
Leave the mask on for at least 20 minutes
Rinse with water and follow up with a mild shampoo
